Consultancy For those customers requiring more than our usual free over the counter advice, we offer a full consultancy service. Our consultants have decades of full-time experience, proving popular with Koi enthusiasts, water gardeners, garden designers and builders. Clients benefit from our expertise at the design, planning and construction stages so avoiding pitfalls and maximising potential. Consultations are also for refurbishment of existing ponds and water features. In recent years there has been a significant increase in demand for on site consultancy, giving advice how to improve on poorly designed or constructed water features and ponds. Planting advice and planting schemes are frequently required, including native plants, suitable plants for reed beds and vegetable filtration.

Consultations can be on any size project from small water features to large ponds. Recent projects include relining of a formal rill, refurbishment and filtration of a 500,000 litre ornamental pond and the construction and filtration of a natural swimming pond. |

We charge a £50 fee for an initial on site consultation with informal verbal advice within a 20 mile radius of Langleys Aquatics. This fee is redeemable against a purchase of £250 or over. For consultations outside a 20 mile radius the charge will be dependant on location, please contact us for more information. There is an additional charge if we are required to issue detailed written reports, and further consultations are necessary. Advice at the planning stage avoids pitfalls later on and so avoids unnecessary expense. |

Fish
Health For problems with fish health we at Langleys quarantine and maintain thousands of fish annually and are therefore able to provide not only expert advice, backed up with microscope analysis for ecto-parasites but also an excellent first hand knowledge of treatments. Water testing and test equipment are also available.
